A Spiderman Movie Review

A Spiderman Movie Review This is an extravagant story of peter parker a character which displays no social skills. A Highschooler.who displayed nerd like qualities. Peter has a knack for adversity, he hasnt got much of a social life. While at a science exhibition, a accident occurs, a stray, altered Spider is unleashed into the lab unnoticed. The same Spider curiously finds its way onto him. Without the slightest clue, the venomous, malicious fangs pierced through his skin. Giving him superhuman abilities and power to any ordinary persons dreams. Its not every day you seemed to get bitten by a genetically-altered spider, gain superhuman strengths and gain the special 5th scent. Throughout this extraordinary experience he will find a thin line between and ordinary HighSchooler and an amazing superhero. He throughout the film has to be the one who crosses the line as he battles the likes of; green goblin. And attempts to win over his Childhood sweetheart, Mary Jane Watson. Peter Parker ( Tobey Maguire), A geeky high school student, living with this Aunt Mary ( Rosemary Harris) and his Uncle Ben ( Cliff Robertson) after the sudden death of his parents from when he was young. His Best friend Harry Osborne (James Franco) the father of Norman Osborne (William Dafoe) a Machiavellian technology tycoon. He went through high school. And certain of a career through science he interestingly had a passion for photography. He developed his hobbies and worked at the local newspapers with J.Johan Jameson (J.K Simmons) offering him a Job within his cooperation. From making this film into reality there comes big expectations and promising possibilities. Where they film scene was going to either make or break the film. What Sami Raimi has cleverly done it not completely remove the comic feel towards the film. They started filming on January 8, 2001, New York. The Big Apple. The wonders of New York just create an unexplainable feeling which embraces over the film creating a humoristic view, a view of a typical comic cal-like city. Big sky scrapers, typical American buses. Fascinating attractions of which makes the viewers prospective of the film even more convincing. They were able to film scene at the most well know areas. The New York public library, Queensboro Bridge, Rockefeller Centre. Its just that little details which enables the viewer to create a imagination for themselves. The majority of the film is inspired by the special effects, visual and audio effects. To achieve such a high standard Sony hired John Dykstra, They would of found it physically impossible to create the stunts without the expertise of His. They tried not to completely rely on computer generated ideas. Throughout the film they use different camera views, different speeds, Within many Sami Raimi film he trends not to rely on computer animation technology so much, to keep the film as realistic as possible with also the comical view towards it they intended the keep the computer animation to a all time low. I regard this film very highly, its a very well written script from Sami Raimi, I rate this film at 8/10. Throughout the film there a consistently high standard of filming, its a extremely entertaining movie with action and humour, but this doesnt compare to similar films to gladiators, It was overall a absolute joy to view.

Ptlls Equality and Diversity.

Throughout this essay I will look at and discuss the issues of equality and diversity. I will also look at ways to promote inclusion with the learner, and how to meet their needs; I will provide evidence and give examples of this. ‘Each of your learners is an individual who should be treated as an equal and with respect’ Wilson, L. (2008. pg. 27) As a lecturer it is essential to show equality in the learning environment. A lecturer must always treat all learners equally and try not to show favouritism. All learners should treat each other with professional courtesy and respect due to learners themselves needing to feel safe in the environment and feel like they too are being treated with respect. Also, both learners from different backgrounds and with different personalities need to be accepted within the learning environment. It is also important that when displaying any posters or using any learning materials that you do not stereotype people and that it is free from inappropriate use of language that may cause offence . For example you would avoid using words like ‘manpower or ‘blackboard’ as this may offend a learner of certain race or gender in the class. ‘Teachers must know how to treat individual children; and there is great skill and subtlety in knowing when to confront or when to ignore certain behaviour’. Cullingford, C. (1995. Pg. 109) Diversity is to know and value the differences between individuals and ensuring they are not being excluded and participating within the classroom. You are then including everyone; this will then show good practice of inclusion. For example if you have a learner with special educational needs; to help the inclusion of that learner, a use of an LSA to help support that learner may be appropriate. The lecturer must have a positive attitude and have willing staff to be activity involved with the learners. As a lecturer you should set targets that suit the individual learner’s needs. Also, the learner should have a key person with who they can go to, for extra support. The lessons must be also be planned with flexibility to allow for all different types of learners you may have. As a lecturer you must meet the potential needs of your learner. For example, if you have a learner in a wheelchair then you need to adapt your lesson to suit. You could do this by ensuring that the learning environment has been customized to facilitate the needs of that learner; for example, a lower-ground classroom could be used. To summarise, it is very important that the lecturer and the learners treat each other equally and with respect. The lecturer must understand the individual’s needs and accommodate the learning environment to suit them in a way to promote inclusion. Therefore, all learners should be included and have the additional support when needed.

Can You Drink Hand Sanitizer or Get Drunk on It

You may have heard about people drinking hand sanitizer to get drunk or get a buzz. Is it safe? What are the effects? Its time to get the answers. Drinking Hand Sanitizer A typical 240 ml container of hand sanitizer gel contains about the same amount of alcohol as five shots of hard liquor. Its hard to say when drinking hand sanitizer came into vogue, but reports of its use as an intoxicant with prison inmates started surfacing around 2009. Recent trends, mainly practiced by teens, include mixing hand sanitizer with mouthwash to make a strong minty cocktail, mixing the gel with salt to separate the alcohol from the gel, and distilling the alcohol from hand sanitizer.   Drinking the resulting cocktail is called hand sanitrippin, getting a hand sanity fix, getting drunk on Mr. Cleans Tears, or getting hand sanitized. Chemical Composition of Hand Sanitizer The problem here is that there are different types of alcohol that may be used as the disinfectant in hand sanitizer and only one of them isnt deadly poisonous! Methanol is not used in hand sanitizer because it is toxic and is absorbed through the skin. Hand sanitizer containing isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) is used in hand sanitizer. While it is not absorbed through the skin as much as methanol, this alcohol is toxic and will damage your nervous system and internal organs if you drink it. Possible effects may include blindness, brain damage, and kidney and liver damage. These effects may be permanent. Its also possible to die from drinking this chemical. Although rubbing alcohol is not good to drink, its unlikely a person would be able to tell the effects apart from those caused by drinking grain alcohol. Drinking isopropyl alcohol initially causes intoxication, slurred speech, blurred vision, and dizziness. Hand sanitizer containing ethyl alcohol (ethanol or grain alcohol) theoretically could be drunk, except it may be denatured. This means the alcohol has purposely been adulterated to make it undrinkable. Back in the days of Prohibition, denaturing agents included arsenic and benzene. Modern denaturing agents range from toxic chemicals to non-toxic, foul-tasting chemicals. The problem is that you cant tell from the label which denaturing chemical was used. Hand Sanitizer Ingredient List When you read a bottle of hand sanitizer, youll likely see ethyl alcohol listed as the active ingredient, usually around 60 percent. This is equivalent to 120-proof liquor. In comparison, straight vodka is only 80-proof. Other (inactive) ingredients include benzophenone-4, carbomer, fragrance, glycerin, isopropyl myristate, propylene glycol, tocopheryl acetate, and water. Some of these ingredients are harmless, while others are toxic. Of this sample list, the fragrance is the additive most likely to cause problems. You cant tell the composition of the fragrance and many common scents are derived from petrochemicals. Can You Drink It? You can drink hand sanitizer, but the bottom line is that you shouldnt. Even if the label lists ethyl alcohol as the only active ingredient, its unlikely that alcohol is in a drinkable form. Plus, the other ingredients may be toxic. Yes, its possible to distill alcohol from hand sanitizer, but youll likely have a low-purity (contaminated) product. The main risk of drinking hand sanitizer isnt from the toxic chemicals but from the extremely high alcohol content. Most people who are hospitalized from drinking hand sanitizer are there because of alcohol poisoning (an alcohol overdose). The alcohol content is so high that it is easy to drink a dangerous amount of alcohol before feeling the initial effects. Key Takeaways There are different formulations of hand sanitizer, but all of them include chemicals that make drinking it dangerous. It is possible to get intoxicated by drinking hand sanitizer made using ethyl alcohol or ethanol.Other types of alcohol may be used as a disinfectant in hand sanitizer, including isopropyl alcohol or rubbing alcohol. Isopropyl alcohol is poisonous.Even if a product is free of denaturing agents, perfumes, or other additives, drinking hand sanitizer is dangerous because it contains higher percent alcohol than an alcoholic beverage. There is an extreme risk of alcohol poisoning or overdose. Its possible to distill ethanol from hand sanitizer to purify it. The distilled product will still contain some level of impurities. Lifeskills Training Program - 813 Words

Out of the all programs that I researched from the Crime Solutions website, the one that stood out to me the most was the â€Å"LifeSkills Training† program. The reason behind why I choose this program is because I actually have a family member (cousin) that went through this program, who was heavily involved in drug and alcohol abuse, as well as being party of a criminal gang and participating in numerous illegal activates. Until he faced the biggest obstacle in his life, he was arrested and had to spend a portion of his life behind bars when he was only fifth teen years old. Luckily this situation made him realize he was just throwing his life away and decided to switch his whole life around. When he made this decision, he took it very serious and while being locked up he demonstrated good behavior at the facility he was housed and was released early on parole (age 17 years old). When he was released, that’s when he discovered the LifeSkills program. The LifeSkills program is a classroom-based tobacco-, alcohol-, and drug abuse–prevention program for adolescents ranging from 11 to 18 years old. The goals of LifeSkills are to prevent tobacco, alcohol, and illicit drug abuse by targeting key risk and protective factors associated with these behaviors. LifeSkills is designed to: (1) increase knowledge of the adverse consequences of substance use; (2) promote anti-drug attitudes and norms; (3) teach personal self-management skills; (4) teach general social skills; and (5) teachShow MoreRelatedTeenage Alcohol Abuse Essay2212 Words   |  9 Pagesstrong preventive program that will serve to education students on the dangers of alcohol and reinforce non drinkers knowledge of the risk of drinking alcohol.
